WHY US
As a team, we have in-depth knowledge in the fields of psychology, statistics, neuroscience, systems theory, communication and cultural studies.
How we work

We work closely with our clients, testing theory and practice and vice versa, so that we can develop processes and formats that are as accurate as possible and which, when applied, lead to more seamless processes in organisations. Our way of working is based on years of applied and pattern research and thus offers our clients the advantage of working out their potential on the one hand and further developing their non-copyable skills on the other, so that these can become a truly unique selling point.

We have a broad portfolio of scientific and analytical methods that combine and utilise different formats.
We create surveys that can be collected and analysed both quantitatively and qualitatively and have a variety of statistical survey methods at our disposal, ranging from development-oriented assessment centres to company evaluations.

We work both systemically and psychologically, look at the framework conditions and people in systems and identify possible solutions to systemic-organisational or personal issues in order to provide targeted support and advice.
We develop a wide variety of interview formats and then analyse them statistically. We then draw up a strategic recommendation for action with and for the respective company, which remains transparent, flexible and realisable at all times.

These steps can be booked either individually or as a complete package. Training, seminars, keynote speeches or coaching sessions are among our strengths and range of options along our process chain. The creation of a new marketing approach based on the previously collected data also represents a creative means of repositioning companies.

ABOUT US
Susanne Maaß-Sagolla (Prof. Dr. phil.)
As a professor for intercultural communication and corporate communication at Münster University of Applied Sciences, Germany for many years, I have had the pleasure of accompanying and leading a wide variety of processes within the university as well as in companies in the areas of change management, corporate communication and intercultural/international topics.
Nils Sagolla (M.Sc. Psychologie)
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching, Learning and Training Psychology (B.A.), a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Clinical Psychology (B.Sc. Psychology) and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Neuropsychology (M.Sc. Psychology). I am currently writing my doctoral thesis in Educational Psychology at the University of Paderborn on the effects of study- and career-relevant competencies in teacher training.
Julia Kuckeland (Art Director & UX Designerin)
After completing my training as a media designer in 2016, I was able to gain a wide range of experience in the creative and digital sector over several years. My work at the agency OnlineDialog in Düsseldorf was particularly influential, where I helped shape numerous client projects as part of a growing team – most recently as Art Director. During this time, I developed a deep understanding of visual communication and strategic design. In addition, I broadened my knowledge through a six-month professional training programme in UX design.
WORKSHOPS
The three-hour workshops are our appetiser formats to provide an insight into and outlook on the various subject areas and their connecting elements and formats. They are aimed at organisations that are active on the market both as profit or non-profit companies or organisations.
We list the respective workshop and date under NEWS. If you would like to book specific workshops for your organisation, please contact us.
The following topics provide an overview of our portfolio:
Living Leadership
Living leadership while remaining attentive, aligned and mindful is and remains a great demand and challenge for every manager. The art of leading thrives on a flexible, constantly realigning and careful approach to this demanding role. It requires that leaders constantly put themselves in a new position to build and maintain relationships, create a sense of balance in the team or project and at the same time do away with traditional hierarchies in order to fulfil the requirements of the company and the market.
Achieving the art of leadership is a comprehensive and very demanding project, which we can study to some degree at universities or universities of applied sciences, but which we only learn to bring to life and manage in practice.
For this reason, our workshops are always dedicated to a specific topic from this broad field.
Change Management
Change management is a sub-category of the strategic orientation or realignment of an organisation. Much has been written but little research has been done on the subject of change, as it is one of the most complex matters in a company or organisation. In addition, companies do not like to be shown their cards because they are very much associated with the idea of best practice. However, change processes are characterised by mistakes and failure. In our modern working world, the points of reference in a company and on the market are currently changing at an unprecedented speed. This means that there are always new and unexpected developments in company processes and for employees at every level.
How can we nevertheless learn to understand change processes and manage them in our own organisations? Systems theory can help answer this question and provide an initial anchor of security.
In our workshops, we offer a look at different approaches to change processes, as the introduction of an ERP system has a different impact than the takeover of a company division or the merging of different teams that previously had nothing to do with each other.
Conflict management
Conflicts are both tension-fuelled and exciting encounters between different people/groups or negotiating partners. In the business context, we speak of various forms of conflict such as conflicts of interest, conflicts of objectives, procurement conflicts and many more. The cause of these diverse types of tensions often lies in a dilemma that is present in all organisations, regardless of their nature. For example, when a manager has to make a decision and meets with great resistance, we immediately speak of tensions or conflicts. We therefore focus on the tension that has arisen, but not on the potential that it may offer. We look at whether the underlying issue of the conflict is the actual conflict or whether it is possibly a completely different matter.
Conflicts are multi-layered and, as a rule, when they arise, they have not only existed since yesterday. In our workshops, we will systematically look at different forms of conflict and how to deal with them productively.
Communication and information
Communication is one of the most important topics in companies, in society and in families in general. It is complex because it constantly links the content and relationship levels and the resulting messages are not always easy to read and understand neither for the sender nor for the receiver. Communication takes place not only in a spoken but also in a written context. It is important to be particularly careful here, as the frequency of misleading statements can be high.
Negotiation is a special form of communication, as it covers the field of communication and information in its full diversity.
We will look at the various psychological and linguistic aspects of communication in order to bring some structure to the almost unmanageable range of communication styles and their effects.
Intercultural communication and competence
Communication that takes place between different members of different cultures has its own dynamics. These dynamics include different approaches based on timing, direct or indirect statements, feedback communications, process planning, the creation of documentation and many other topics. The skill that someone in an international environment must learn is the art of interpreting these different approaches in order to appreciate cultural differences and distinguish them from the individual characteristics of the other person.
Based on our broad experience in this field, we can offer culturally specific, theoretical approaches and opportunities for practical reflection to bring about a mindset change.
COACHING ON A GROUP OR INDIVIDUAL BASIS
Coaching or supervision processes are designed for people who want to reflect on issues in their working environment in order to gain more clarity, new ideas and, above all, more energy for their everyday tasks. The various topics that can be discussed in coaching processes include: Developing strategies, exploring leadership contexts, adjusting to a new position and role, clarifying stress in the work context, learning to understand personal and professional crises and many other topics.
Coaching sessions on a group basis consist of a group of around 6 people from different professional fields. The advantage of this format is that all participants introduce their perspective to the respective issue and benefit greatly from the concerns of the other coachees in the group. Listening attentively and giving/taking relevant feedback without passing judgement and focusing on one’s own topic is a great skill that can be learnt and deepened in this group format.
Group coaching sessions usually take place on 5 dates of 2.5 hours each (incl. break). Additional sessions are possible at any time. Leadership coaching processes or team coaching can and should take place over a longer period of time.
Individual coaching sessions can be booked at any time. Here as well, we recommend scheduling a duration of 2 hours, as some topics need to be understood in their complexity before appropriate steps can be taken and attitudes changed.
We are in favour of short-term processes and recommend scheduling between 3 – 5 individual sessions, reviewing the knowledge gained in the workplace and booking another round of further reflection if necessary.
