ABOUT US
Susanne Maaß-Sagolla (Prof. Dr. phil.)

As a professor for intercultural communication and corporate communication at Münster University of Applied Sciences, Germany for many years, I have had the pleasure of accompanying and leading a wide variety of processes within the university as well as in companies in the areas of change management, corporate communication and intercultural/international topics. Universities of Applied Sciences are known for the integration of practice and theory. This offers lecturers and students a broad basis for reviewing teaching and practice and thus represents an infinite learning and teaching experience for both sides.
I worked at the Institute of Technical Business Administration (ITB) at Münster University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2025 and was able to develop this integration further and redefine it in some areas. Thinking and developing practice and theory in a joint way is particularly important in part-time degree programmes such as Business Administration & Engineering. Here, students provide direct feedback on the forms of teaching and learning and the corresponding content based on their everyday professional lives. The research-based Master’s theses that have been written over the years in the field of change management in the respective companies and organisations of the Master’s students have made it possible to review and refine this approach. For example, it was possible to use systems theory to draw data-based conclusions as to where in the company’s change process structural, strategic or communication changes needed to be introduced and further supported in order to remain as effective as possible.
Internationally, I have travelled to countries such as India, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and Europe, established collaborations and given lectures. In addition to my academic teaching activities, I have consulted and supported projects such as the Business Experts & Engineering (BEE) project, which brings together students and project managers of different enterprises in Costa Rica, Colombia and Germany to work on business and engineering issues.
I completed several years of additional training and certification in the fields of organisational consulting, supervision (DGSv), coaching, team development and systemic consulting according to SySt®.
My consulting work has been and continues to be aimed at managers who are looking for more creative ways to meet their diverse demands in their companies; at change processes that need to be evaluated and in some cases reorganised strategically, structurally and in terms of personnel; at team development processes that need to come together both interculturally and through new team set-ups; at group coaching sessions whose participants, coming from different companies, discuss their experiences and build networks and, last but not least, at academics who need to (re)orientate themselves in their day-to-day work at universities and universities of applied sciences.
Nils Sagolla (M.Sc. Psychologie)
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching, Learning and Training Psychology (B.A.), a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Clinical Psychology (B.Sc. Psychology) and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Neuropsychology (M.Sc. Psychology). I am currently writing my doctoral thesis in Educational Psychology at the University of Paderborn on the effects of study- and career-relevant competencies in teacher training.
I worked as a lecturer at Münster University of Applied Sciences from 2019 to 2024 in the modules communication for prospective managers in the full-time programme of Master of Business Administration & Engineering and in the part-time programme of the same course of study in change management and leadership development.
Since 2023, I have been using my expertise in methodology to develop interview and questionnaire-based surveys for various types of companies. In order to be able to design and analyse these surveys in a needs-based manner, questions based on systems theory are asked of the employees in advance and recorded short interviews are conducted. These preliminary interviews serve as a starting point for the subsequent development of the survey. Once the data has been collected and the results analysed, specific recommendations for action and goals are defined. The results and recommendations are discussed and modified with the customer. This process loop has proven to be very effective and sustainable for the companies since they are involved in each single phase of the process.
Julia Kuckeland (Art Director & UX Designerin)
After completing my training as a media designer in 2016, I was able to gain a wide range of experience in the creative and digital sector over several years. My work at the agency OnlineDialog in Düsseldorf was particularly influential, where I helped shape numerous client projects as part of a growing team – most recently as Art Director. During this time, I developed a deep understanding of visual communication and strategic design. In addition, I broadened my knowledge through a six-month professional training programme in UX design.
Today, I work as a freelance art director and UX designer and support dialogue@work with creativity and a clear sense for target groups. I offer conceptual and visual solutions for companies of all sizes – from brand development and UX design to visual communication in digital as well as analogue media. With the skills and perspectives, I bring to the table, we complement each other in the dialogue@work team in a meaningful way: With my design and marketing expertise, I support, for example, the change and graphic reorientation of organisational charts or design suitable communication strategies for recruiting employees. This allows us to expand the portfolio of services together.
My aim is to create creative solutions with clear added value – for clients, their target groups and my team. Working together as partners at eye level is particularly important to me. I believe in the power of real communication and that good design should not only be beautiful, but also relevant and effective.
WHY US
As a team, we have in-depth knowledge in the fields of psychology, statistics, neuroscience, systems theory, communication and cultural studies.
We work closely with our clients, testing theory and practice and vice versa, so that we can develop processes and formats that are as accurate as possible and which, when applied, lead to more seamless processes in organisations. Our way of working is based on years of applied and pattern research and thus offers our clients the advantage of working out their potential on the one hand and further developing their non-copyable skills on the other, so that these can become a truly unique selling point.
We have a broad portfolio of scientific and analytical methods that combine and utilise different formats.
We create surveys that can be collected and analysed both quantitatively and qualitatively and have a variety of statistical survey methods at our disposal, ranging from development-oriented assessment centres to company evaluations.
We work both systemically and psychologically, look at the framework conditions and people in systems and identify possible solutions to systemic-organisational or personal issues in order to provide targeted support and advice.
We develop a wide variety of interview formats and then analyse them statistically. We then draw up a strategic recommendation for action with and for the respective company, which remains transparent, flexible and realisable at all times.
These steps can be booked either individually or as a complete package. Training, seminars, keynote speeches or coaching sessions are among our strengths and range of options along our process chain. The creation of a new marketing approach based on the previously collected data also represents a creative means of repositioning companies.
